The Allen County Educational Service Center provides a myriad of services for our member school districts.
1. Services offered at no excess cost for member districts include:
- Bus driver physical exams
- Bus driver professional development
- Assistance with administration, teacher and classified licensure
- Parent Mentor services
- Holistic/County-wide Curriculum supervision and support
- Professional development for teachers, administrators and other school staff
- Coordination of the Science Enhancement for Science Advancement Program
- Coordination of Quiz Bowls - Coordination of Allen County Spelling Bee
- Hosting of professional meetings for superintendents, principals and administrators
- Representation and coordination with agencies and programs in Allen County
2. Services offered for a set fee include:
- Teaching/instruction for students residing within the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center - $100 per student/per day
- Typically developing preschool students - $110 per month (half price for siblings)
- Professional development for non-member districts - rate individually established based upon request
- Fingerprinting - $30 for BCII, $35 for FBI
3. * The following services are offered on a cost reimbursement basis:
- Autism classrooms - $25.00 per hour/per student
- School Psychology - $89.00 per hour of service
- Special Education supervision - $88.00 per hour of service
- Transition coordination - $88.00 per hour of service
- Gifted Education classroom teaching - $79.00 per hour/per student
- Emotional Disturbance classroom teaching - $24.00 per hour/per student
- Multiple Disabilities classroom teaching - $22.00 per hour/per student
- Preschool with Disabilities classroom teaching - $13.00 per hour/per student
- Preschool Itinerant teaching - $24.00 per hour/ per student
- Occupational Therapy - $95.00 per student/per session
- Physical Therapy - $108.00 per student/per session
- Alternative School programming/teaching - $13.00 per hour/per student
- Speech Pathology - $73.00 per hour/per student
- Truancy Officer - $35.00 per hour of service
- Curriculum supervision on-site at district - $80.00 per hour of service
* Actual personnel costs, materials, supplies, equipment and other related costs are factored in; as well as, an administrative fee that ranges from 0% to 5% depending on the situation, member status, and/or student involvement in said program.
